The rights of a consumer

Had two unhappy incidents recently over services rendered.

One, we went to a bar and were seated outside.  The seats were wet so we requested for a change.  However, the waiter refused, "If I change for you, I'll have to offer customer who come, wet seats.  You get what I mean?"
Sorry, I don't.  You're saying that you are going to give us wet seats, while your imaginary future customers will get served better?

Two, I directed my taxi to my lobby.  Upon sighting the main road across a block, he questioned why I didn't get off from the main road and walk in?  "Some drivers hate coming into carparks like this, and having to get out".
Well, if I wanted to walk, I wouldn't have taken a taxi.

Much have been said of demanding customers.  Yet, what was said of customers who were given bad services and kept quiet about it?  I did keep quiet.  On reflection, I wouldn't accept such crap in future.
