Botanical gardens in the day - A little tea party

[post has been back-dated]

We arrived at the park at 3pm, a bright sun at our backs. Only with a load and a destination in mind, do you appreciate how huge this place is. We passed by old familiar sites like Swan Lake and the Sundial Garden. We had our refreshment in Garlic Garden. We revisited Evolution Path, the first time since its official opening. Another long trek along Eco Walk and we're there!

Our visage opened up into a wide grass fields with soft grassy mounds. We picked a gentle slope under a tree and set up our picnic. There was a little hiccup as we dared not approach passer-bys for the loan of a lighter, for fear of offending them. Strange that I had never noticed it before, but have you ever seen anyone light up at a park? Finally, we struck lucky with a family having a picnic and started to brew our tea. We had ham and cheese sandwiches; plain crackers with cheese spread; fruits and some orange tea. We had a little game and had some orange tea. We ran out of orange tea and had some green tea. We ran out of water and finished our green tea...

Finally, we entertained ourselves with the swans and ended our dark at the Botanical Gardens.
