Our little gal was pretty excited about the coming dinner. She dressed well and did up her hair. Said goodbye to us at 3pm while we continued working.
We reached Toa Payoh's Sakura at 7.30pm at met up with her again. At my table was myself, Shenquan, Lala, Jiawei, Huiying, Tommy and Derek. At the other table was PoemCloud, Wendy, Ron, Kaifen and Angie.
Sakura serves food buffet style with a emphasis on popular Japanese food. Surprising good quality for a buffet and the staff was rather nice. They guys went for a salmon eating spree while the girls attacked the cakes. Derek was a bit b****** when it came to clearing food. Is it a manly thing to curse and swear?
I quizzed Shiyun over her reason for leaving and it turned out similar to my first resignation. I said she might come in time to regret it and I made her promise to update me. Finally, we could eat no more and took our photos. That's was much comedy when SQ posed with Shiyun. When they were deciding where to go next, I took my leave early in anticipation for my event the next day.
